Museum Overview: 

For 70 years, MOHAI has been dedicated to enriching lives by preserving, sharing, and teaching the diverse history of Seattle, the Puget Sound region, and the nation. With a collection of nearly 4 million artifacts, photographs, oral histories and archival items, and an expansive schedule of exhibits and programs, MOHAI is the region’s premier history center. MOHAI now operates a dramatic and award-winning museum in Lake Union Park in Seattle’s vibrant South Lake Union neighborhood, and a Resource Center in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood. MOHAI also hosts the Bezos Center for Innovation, focusing on the history and future of innovation in the Puget Sound region. ABOUT THE POSITION

The Development & Membership Coordinator is responsible for administrative support to the Advancement team and is integral to the overall success and smooth operations of fundraising and membership activities at MOHAI. This includes general administrative, project management, and fundraising support, donor and membership gift processing, acknowledgements, fulfillment, stewardship, and renewals. Additionally, this position ensures the integrity of data stored in the museum’s relational database, including data entry and reporting. This position supports all aspects of the individual giving program, including the annual fund, membership program, and donor events. 

 

COMPENSATION

Rate of Pay: $25-$33 per hour
