Just Solutions is a BIPOC, women-led, national climate organization that partners with communities disproportionately impacted by climate change to turn their priorities and ideas into policies and laws. Our staff, board, and key partners are thought leaders, advocates, researchers, policy experts, lawyers, and educators with personal, lived experiences and deep expertise working in frontline communities.

 

As a movement partner organization, we invest deeply in state Environmental Justice and Climate Justice (EJ-CJ) organizations and coalitions to: 1) elevate community-created model policies and strategies; 2) replicate

and scale winning approaches and strategies in other states; 3) innovate and expand the bank of viable solutions; and 4) build the movement’s collective capacity to drive justice-centered policy and program changes at the local, state, and federal levels at a scale and pace that match the urgency of the climate crisis.

 

ABOUT THE POSITION

Just Solutions Collective is Hiring for a Development Director.

 

The incoming Development Director will work closely with the Executive Director to lead a development strategy to ensure the sustainable advancement of Just Solutions’ mission. Core responsibilities include: developing a long-term fundraising and donor development strategy to achieve program growth objectives; securing funding to meet or exceed annual budget needs; maintaining and building donor relationships; and developing and overseeing grants management databases and systems and other relevant project management tools to execute fundraising efforts.

 

This person will enjoy working remotely for a group that is committed to addressing climate change for our children & communities, while earning great wages (Salary $140k-$170k DOE), getting important work done, and living a balanced life.

 

COMPENSATION

$140,000- $170,000
