Environmental Grantmakers Association (EGA) is a non-profit membership organization made up of over 200 foundations that support people and the planet. Our community of environmental funders represents a diverse range of foundations spanning North America and the globe—including public, community, family, and corporate foundations. In 2020, EGA members gave more than $1.91 billion dollars domestically and internationally to environmental issues.  

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Communications Coordinator connects the EGA community through strategic communications. The role is responsible for the development of multimedia content that enhances EGA members' and the philanthropic sector's collective learning and action to support people and the planet. They experiment with technologies and platforms to deliver bold, strategic content to EGA’s diverse audience of funders, nonprofits, and movement partners. A successful candidate identifies with and deploys EGA’s Racial Equity POV and Strategic Framework as the guiding frameworks for their activities.
