Program and Grants Associatea

As a family foundation, the Stranahan Foundation’s mission is to maximize our family’s positive impact on our communities and thus our world.  With a small staff, working in a hybrid setting, the Foundation administers approximately $6 million grant dollars per year, supporting roughly 100 organizations through two primary grant making programs including a strategic area of interest in Early Childhood Education and a responsive grantmaking program that supports non-profits located in communities in which family members live.

 

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Stranahan Foundation is seeking a full-time Program and Grants Associate who will be an integral part of our team, playing a vital role in our efficiency and effectiveness.  As a newly crafted position, you will have the opportunity to shape the role and bring your unique strengths to the three primary areas of responsibility: Grantmaking, administrative and communications support. 

 

In this position, you will be someone we can count on to manage the full cycle of grants administration processes and workflows, monitor and track grantmaking compliance, and provide operations recommendations to support organizational effectiveness and continuous improvement.  You will oversee the administration of the grant-making life cycle, from inquiries and applications to grant awards, and work with our two program officers in reviewing proposals and researching program areas as needed.

 

COMPENSATION

$52,500 - $65,000
