ABOUT THE POSITION

This full-time manager level position will work within our Development and Communications Department and reports to the Director of Development.  The IGO will research potential institutional funders (grantors), establish relationships with representatives of current and future institutional funders, write coherent, organized, and compelling proposals, and create detailed reports to demonstrate to funders that their contributions were used appropriately and with the intended impact.

You will apply your knowledge of fundraising methods and plans to reach mutually agreed-upon goals and objectives throughout the year. You will collaborate with team members in the organization to identify fundable opportunities and monitor how grant funding is being used. You will assist with other fundraising projects and develop relationships with key benefactors and others. 

To ensure success you need to write well, have proficient knowledge of corporate and foundation fundraising methods, and be committed to the mission and vision of Rethos. A strong knowledge of the institutional philanthropy community in Minnesota is highly desired.

$59-$61k
