Together with our member network of over 140 grantmaking organizations, NFG engages philanthropic institutions and their staff across the U.S. to accelerate racial, gender, economic, disability, and climate justice by moving more philanthropic dollars to local organizing and local power building led by BIPOC communities, low-income communities and workers, rural communities, LGBTQIA and gender non-conforming people, women, and immigrants.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Neighborhood Funders Group (NFG) seeks a Communications Manager to support its growing communications needs and drive a storytelling agenda that amplifies NFG’s role as a place for funders to connect, strategize, and take action. The Communications Manager will be a member of NFG’s Program Team. They will contribute to shaping the institutional voice by writing and editing content that demonstrates the team’s thought leadership, builds cohesion across program areas, and illustrates NFG’s theory of change. A skilled project manager, the Communications Manager will work in partnership with members of the team to plan and carry out communications activities across the organization and take the lead on website strategy and management. The ideal candidate is a strong and self-motivated content creator and content manager who shares NFG’s political analysis and commitment to social justice.
COMPENSATION
$75,000-$90,000
