Reporting to the Chief Impact Officer and Sobrato Philanthropies President, the Senior Program Associate (SPA) plays a critical role in supporting the philanthropic efforts of Sobrato Philanthropies (SP) by providing comprehensive grant management, administrative, and operational support. Working closely with SP’s leadership team, their role will ensure efficient grantmaking is executed for the Sobrato family and that SP’s leadership has highly coordinated calendars, meetings, and offsites.

The SPA will support grants administration, maintain accurate grant data, and track grantee reports for Sobrato family member grantmaking. Additionally, the role ensures the seamless operation of leadership activities by providing high-level administrative support, including meeting preparation and logistical support as well as calendar and travel coordination. The position requires advanced project management, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The SPA needs to be able to work well independently and within a team, demonstrating great initiative, flexibility, and collaboration, and exercise judgement and discernment in the handling of sensitive matters.
