Fall 2022 White Affinity Community of Practice Cohort Kick Off - Nov. 8

Click here to learn about and join the next cohort of EPIP’s white affinity space. This cohort will be capped at 30 members and starts with a mandatory kick-off session on Nov. 8 at 10:00 a.m. P.T. followed by monthly gatherings on the second Tuesday of each month.

This space is designed to offer a rigorous and supportive environment for EPIP members who identify as white to deepen knowledge of antiracism and develop skills and strategies to advance racial equity and inclusive leadership practices in philanthropy.

Register here to join us as we team up with our EPIP Bay Area Chapter to host an interactive discussion on the world of donor-advised funds, also known as "DAFs!" DACA In The Balance: Mobilizing to Protect Our Communities - Nov. 9

Click here to join Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees (GCIR) and leading voices in the immigrant justice movement for this special strategy session on Nov. 9 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. PST. Attendees will explore what can be done to support DACA holders during this uncertain time, addressing challenges such as the mental health impacts of the constant threats to the program, potential future workforce participation challenges, and the possible loss of other benefits such as driver's licenses and in-state tuition. Attendees will also explore the narrative, legislative, and deportation defense strategies being pursued by advocates. Participants should be prepared to strategize and plan together with other funders and field leaders in this “roll-up-your-sleeves” strategy session.
