Grants Management Analyst

Crown Family Philanthropies seeks a Grants Management Analyst, who will serve as a key member of CFP’s Operations team and report to the Director of Operations. The Operations team handles financial oversight, talent support, and grants management responsibilities for CFP. The Analyst will be primarily involved in grants management work, including due-diligence, record-keeping, monitoring, grantee/customer service, Board communications, and quality assurance components of the foundation’s grant-making work.

The Analyst will manage specific grants-management workflows from start to finish and will have primary responsibility for responding to inquiries received from grantees, applicants, and staff through Crown Family Philanthropies’ grant-help email account.

The ideal Grants Management Analyst is comfortable in a collaborative team environment, working with various teams inside and outside the CFP department, including CFP’s Program and Family Engagement staff, CFP grantees, undergraduate scholars in the Col. Henry Crown Scholarship program, and HCC/CCI company employees. In other words, they need to be able to work across multiple teams, coordinating with colleagues on multiple aspects of their grantmaking work. The Analyst should be intelligent and capable of analytical approaches to process improvement, as well as highly organized, with a keen attention to detail, and capable of handling multiple diverse and concurrent tasks. They also need to be effective communicators, capable of conveying sensitive and complex topics with multiple stakeholders.
