Facilities Coordinator

The Facilities Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the East Bay Community Foundation’s Oakland office is welcoming, safe, and fully functional for staff, visitors, and community members. This hands-on role is responsible for managing day-to-day building operations, coordinating maintenance and vendor services, supporting front desk coverage, overseeing office supply inventory, and assisting with office space planning. The Facilities Coordinator also manages operations for our on-site James Irvine Conference Center, including event scheduling, setup, and vendor coordination, helping create seamless experiences for both internal and external gatherings.

The Facilities Coordinator is expected to be onsite most weekdays (Monday through Friday) to meet the operational needs of the role, with occasional opportunities to work remotely. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
