The Director of Finance and Operations (Director) serves as a steward of AAPIP’s organizational health, responsible for building strong financial systems, equitable people practices, and efficient operational infrastructure that reflect the organization’s values. This role ensures that internal policies, systems, and decision-making processes are transparent, accountable, and designed to support staff belonging, sustainability, and impact across a national organization and chapter network.

The Director reports to the President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and supervises one staff member, along with outside consultants, to oversee finance, human resources, and organizational operations. The Director balances strategic leadership with hands-on execution, strengthening systems that allow AAPIP to grow responsibly, care well for its people (currently 12 staff), and deploy resources effectively in service of AANHPI communities.

The Director oversees finance, human resources, and organizational operations, translating strategy into strong execution, strengthening systems and controls, and building scalable infrastructure that supports staff well-being, fiscal responsibility, compliance, and long-term organizational resilience. This leader brings both analytical rigor and human-centered leadership to ensure that operational excellence directly advances mission impact.
