In partnership with the Artistic Director, this role is tasked with the development and marketing implementation for Montgomery Theater.
DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Develop strong relationships with all members of our community
Responsible for all giving
Responsible for grant-writing
Plan all fundraising events
MARKETING
Oversee and prepare advertising, publicity, press releases, and production literature
Develop and execute promotional plan for educational programming
Database and website management
Coordinate and promote special events
ADMINISTRATION
Oversee administrative staff and volunteer personnel
Manage space rentals
Various other administrative tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree is a bonus
3-5 years arts management experience
Grant writing experience
Marketing experience
IT Experience Preferred
Demonstrated management, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously, prioritizing as needed
