Solidaire Network is excited to announce an opening for a Building the Fire Fund (BFF) Strategist. The BFF Strategist will join our Philanthropic Transformation (PT) team, which currently includes four talented team members advancing innovative strategies to liberate wealth and accompany movements contesting for power. The Strategist works closely with Solidaire’s donor organizers and other team members to advance and achieve the movement objectives laid out in our 10-year strategy—a roadmap to liberate wealth for movements to build lasting left power in the United States.
While the Strategist supports our broader movement alignment efforts, this role focuses deeply on accompaniment, movement building, and strategy implementation alongside frontline partners. The Strategist collaborates with the Philanthropic Transformation team and Solidaire’s Donor Organizing and Political Education Team to implement the movement objectives laid out in our 10-year strategy. The Strategist focuses on strengthening relationships and coordination within the left through funding, investing in, and participating in movement infrastructure while skillfully accompanying and learning from movement experimentation, protection, imagination, and transformation. This role includes accompanying BFF movement organizations and leaders, stewarding liberatory grantmaking and resource leveraging, and collaboratively guiding the goals and vision of the BFF in partnership with movement leaders and advisors
