The Board Chair is a Board Officer and they sit alongside the fellow Board Officers (Board Treasurer, Board Secretary) and our Executive Director to form our Executive Committee.
As the Board Chair, you’ll be the one to set a positive tone to inspire collaboration and drive towards Slant'd's mission. You’ll oversee meetings, encourage discussion, and work to foster camaraderie among Board Members, while also ensuring effective fundraising and oversight of our operations and strategic goals.

It’s deeply important to us at Slant’d that our work and spaces represent the full spectrum of voices across the AAPI community, as this is a space that intentionally centers AAPI talent. We’d especially love to work with folks who identify as queer, trans, non-binary, agender, disabled, or South Asian who are inspired by our mission and what we’re working on.
