Goldman Environmental Foundation is seeking an Associate Program Officer to provide critical support for its awarding of the Goldman Environmental Prize, the world’s foremost award honoring grassroots environmental leadership. The role will contribute to research on Prize candidates and support in preparing winners for the Prize announcement, ceremony, and tour in the spring.

GEF seeks an organized, cooperative, Bay Area-based colleague with excellent research experience, strong writing and communication skills, cross-cultural sensitivity and awareness, and commitment to justice, equity, inclusion, and diversity. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in environmental philanthropy and/or environmental nonprofits is preferred.
