"Vote like your life depends on it" -Michelle Obama. These wise words, spoken to us by our forever First Lady, Michelle Obama, should not be taken lightly. EPIP NY is inviting you to help get out the vote in the upcoming November election.

We are joining Reclaim Our Vote to reach out to people in key states to encourage them to register to vote. Volunteers will receive a package with everything needed to write and mail postcards to potential voters with information on how to register. To volunteer, please email your mailing address so that you can receive the script, a set of 30 postcards, stamps, and labels. 

Volunteer Opportunity with Madison Square Boys & Girls Club 

The Madison Square Boys & Girls Club would like to partner with EPIP NY to bring programs to their teens. Madison Square Boys & Girls Club provides after-school and summer youth development programming to young people ages 6 to 18 in under-resourced neighborhoods of New York City.  

EPIP New York Says Goodbye to 2018! 

For the third year in a row, the EPIP NY community dedicated the holiday party to giving back to the community. This year's gift recipient was The Bowery Mission. All party attendees were required to bring items that could be donated to the homeless community in New York City.

Over 40 women (and one man) gathered at the Wallace Foundation bright and early to hear inspirational words and useful tips on how to navigate philanthropy as a woman. Liz Alsina, program associate at The Mellon Foundation, Jaclyn Le, program & research analyst at Wallace Foundation, Carolina Velasquez, Administrative Assistant at Wallace Foundation, and Kristina Whyte, Senior Accountant at Wallace Foundation, organized the highly attended event, the second one of its kind hosted by the EPIP New York Chapter. Learn more about the event and lessons from it here.
