The EPIP Innovations Gallery will feature posters highlighting two critical and interrelated areas of research and strategy: 1) Strategies and Research on Giving, which would include findings on philanthropy itself, strategies for grantmaking, trends in giving, and may include interesting inquiries into motivations for giving, demographic trends, recent developments in emergency responses to disasters, etc; and 2) Research to Inform Giving, such as program evaluation findings of community-based programs and social change initiatives that offer implications for the field of philanthropy. The focus of the session is research to action. All posters are required to offer possible actionable implications or recommendations for the field of philanthropy and social change.

Registration for the 2013 Conference is now live, and affordable early bird rates are available thru Dec 31, 2012. Our theme this year: Lead. EPIP is both a teaching and learning organization. We strive to improve the practice of philanthropy within our community and in the field at large. To that end, we exist to make sure that every emerging foundation professional reaches his or her true potential as an independent leader, and as a steward of philanthropic resources. We see EPIP members as change agents who are learning from preceding generations; who value the principles of professional accord and effectiveness; and who hope to make the world more just and equitable. Our members make the most of their opportunities and step into leadership moments all along their career paths. We are all leaders, even if we don’t know it. And we all have the potential to do good in the world. Become a part of what we’re doing, and let us help you unlock your true leadership potential.
