Hello!
We hope you’ll join us this September for #EPIP2016 – Elevate: Ourselves, Our Work, Our World, our national conference in Baltimore. EPIP’s national conference is a transformative experience that combines practical skills building workshops with opportunities to network. Last year I went to the conference in New Orleans and it was absolutely a highlight of my year. There is something magical about being surrounded by hundreds of colleagues who are all working for social justice. I left conference last year feeling uplifted and deeply inspired by my colleagues from across the country.
Baltimore is an important place for us to be. It’s a city with a deep and rich history of both grassroots community leadership and philanthropic investment. At the conference, we'll have the chance to hear from local leaders working to build community power and take on systemic injustice, including police reform since the death of Freddie Gray and the ensuing #BaltimoreUprising. We know there is much we can learn as we listen to local Baltimore leaders and engage in open dialogue on race, place and our role as change makers.
I hope you’ll join us. Let’s inspire, energize, teach and empower each other and we work towards building a more just and equitable society.
Join us. Register now and save money with early bird pricing through July 15. (Perfect for those whose professional development budgets began anew on July 1.)
Check out our conference tracks here and our newly released plenary topics!
