We’ll cover how to choose sessions that align with your goals, how to authentically present yourself and a crash course on networking. You’ll also get a tutorial of how to optimize your LinkedIn profile so you can build meaningful connections that last well after the conference ends.

This virtual event will take place on Thursday, June 11th from 3:00 PM–4:00 PM and is open to all EPIP members, so we encourage you to RSVP today!

Whether you’re attending your first national conference or your hundredth, preparing for the experience can make all the difference. Join EPIP Chicago for a virtual community gathering ahead of the 2026 EPIP National Conference in Chicago.

The first half of the session will feature a conversation with conference steering committee members sharing “know before you go” insights, tips for navigating the conference, and reflections on how to make the most of the experience–from building authentic connections to choosing sessions and balancing rest, learning, and community care.

The second half of the event will focus on networking and relationship-building, creating space for attendees to meet one another before the conference begins. Whether you’re hoping to find familiar faces, connect with peers in philanthropy, or build community ahead of the gathering, this session is designed to help you arrive feeling more connected and prepared.

This event is free, but RSVP is required.

Join EPIP for our 2026 National Conference: Clarity and Courage. Pre conference activities will begin on June 28th, with the main conference beginning at 10:00 am on Monday June 29th.
