Dominique Morgan (She/Her) is a globally recognized artist, activist, and philanthropist who is transforming LGBTQ philanthropy and advocacy. As the Director of the Fund for Trans Generations at Borealis Philanthropy, she leads the world’s largest initiative dedicated to supporting trans and Non-Binary individuals.
Under her leadership, the fund received the 2024 GUTC Leadership Award for its exceptional impact on trans community grant making, contributing to the growth of LGBTQ philanthropy to over $250 million annually.
Dominique also co-chairs the Trans Futures Funding Campaign (TFFC), where she has been pivotal in raising $10 million in new funding for trans-led organizations in regions facing legislative attacks. Her strategic leadership ensures this support reaches the most urgently needed communities.
Dominique made history as the first Black trans woman in the world to have a street named after her. She became the first Black trans woman to win the Ten Outstanding Young Americans Award, joining a legacy of U.S. Presidents, Olympians, and innovators.
Subsequently, she was nominated as the United States representative for the Ten Outstanding Young People of the World. Dominique has also received the NAACP Freedom Fighter Award and the JM Kaplan Innovation Prize and made history as Apple’s first global model.
