"Community, inspiration and amazing content."

EPIP Members have been at the helm of designing this year's EPIP 2016 Conference - #Elevate2016. That makes this the only gathering in philanthropy developed by rising leaders for rising leaders. Hear why some of the members who rolled up their sleeves to make conference a reality are excited to be there, and to meet you! Register today & be sure to book your hotel before the Embassy Suites room block closes on August 22.

Christian_Hill_Headshot.jpgFirst, it has been a real pleasure being a member of EPIP and serving on the 2016 National Conference Planning Committee. As part of the Workshop Planning Team, I had the distinct pleasure of reading, evaluating and discussing each and every one of your submissions. To that, let me just say, if there were one word to describe my overall feeling toward the quality of your submissions, it would be – YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS (in my best Tamar Braxton voice)! If I ever had a doubt that such topics as: race relations, social justice, gender diversity and inclusion, equity - would ever make it to the workplace table as a topic of discussion; seeing the range of your passions and interest regarding these topics puts my heart at ease. To that end, I am most excited to meet and greet each of you in September, so don’t miss it! You are in for a treat! WARNING – my guilty pleasure is the Real Housewives franchise. Don’t be surprised if I use a few NeNe quotes :) — Christian Hill, National Four-H Council, EPIP Conference 2016 Planning Committee Member

One of the best things about being an EPIP member is the community that you find when attending the national conferences. I’ve made so many new friends and colleagues simply from attending the EPIP conference, thanks in large part to the programming that is created to excite, inform, and inspire. As the chair of this year’s Plenary Committee, my fellow committee members and I were tasked with bringing big picture ideas to the main stage while maintaining the same level of candor and creativity that you will find throughout all conference programming. I am so very excited to see all of our hard work come together, and it is my hope that participants this year will walk away feeling energized about the work ahead and connected to this larger community of emerging leaders within our field. See you in Baltimore! :) —
