Susan Hairston is the director of program services at the Ford Foundation where she oversees logistics, policies and processes for $565 million in grant making annually. Responsible for grants management, information analysis, grant systems, and overseas operations, she also directs the Foundation’s employee volunteer program known as the Good Neighbor Committee. Having held several management positions at the Foundation since joining there in 1997, Susan’s prior experience includes nonprofit operations, finance and accounting at a variety of NJ organizations. An advocate for education and active community volunteer, Susan has been honored with many community service awards and appointed to serve on several boards. She received her B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and her M.P.A. From Seton Hall University.
