EPIPhany Hour: Philanthropy and the Tech Sector

Join EPIP LA as we discover what lies at the intersection of philanthropy and the tech sector. As Silicon Beach continues to flourish, with more than 500 tech ventures, many companies are exploring how they can leverage their assets to support local nonprofits and what their social impact will be. This Lunch and Learn will include a conversation between AnnenbergTech and select partner organizations, highlighting a variety of tech sector and philanthropy concepts from building a diverse tech pipeline, to partnership, and how foundations can be thought leaders in the tech ecosystem. From this conversation, we hope participants will come away with a better sense of tech-based philanthropy initiatives and with ideas of how to support partnership between the fields.

AnnenbergTech, an initiative of the Annenberg Foundation, is leading the charge in the philanthropic space by convening technology business leaders, investors, nonprofits, and the city of LA to activate the region’s tech community and create new models of civic leadership that will lift up all Angelenos.

Lunch will be provided.
