Where: Detroit, MI

As philanthropy works to address the economic crisis and the numerous social issues it brings into sharper focus - EPIP will convene at Detroit, in the heart of the crisis. We will invite foundation leaders from Detroit and across Michigan to participate in this Gathering, so that it has both local and national character. Diverse emerging leaders within Michigan's philanthropic community are working to establish a statewide EPIP Chapter, making this a great time to convene in this centrally-located Heartland locale.

  • Meeting: McGregor Memorial Conference Center on the campus of Wayne State University, an urban campus, Wayne State is centrally located at the heart of Detroit near ethnic neighborhoods, restaurants, and water front.
  • Housing: The Inn at Ferry Street. EPIP has reserved this Bed and Breakfast, composed of four beautiful Victorian homes in walking distance to our meeting space. Registrants need not make housing reservations; we will assign a room to you when you register for the Gathering. (In the off chance that we run out of rooms at the Inn, we will help you find nearby housing.)
