Opportunity - Learn How to Measure Your Impact: The Young Nonprofit & Philanthropic Leader Scholarship for EPIP Members

Evaluate for Change is partnering with EPIP to provide scholarships to their capacity-building 6-Week evaluation courses. Evaluate for Change has a special focus on emerging and young social sector professionals - knowing they are tomorrow's true change makers. The 6-week evaluation courses are hands-on and interactive bringing students together to learn what it takes to use data to improve programming and increase funding. Evaluation experts teach skills through lectures, small group work, activities, and one-on-one advising, which allow students to leave with finished products to bring back to their organizations to implement.

Courses Include:

  • Introduction to Measuring Your Impact

  • Developing Surveys for People Not Products

  • Data Visualization

Evaluate for Change provides financial assistance to promising professionals that may not be able to afford the fees – making education more accessible. We believe learning the evaluation skills needed to become a data-driven professional should be made available to all practitioners reinforcing our mission that leveraging data is for everyone. EPIP’s has a special scholarship fund: Young Nonprofit & Philanthropic Leader Scholarship that any active member may apply to.

The Young Nonprofit & Philanthropic Leader Scholarship was created based on our dedication to empower the next generation of nonprofit and philanthropic data-driven leaders. Members of Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) or Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy (EINP) may apply for a $300 scholarship towards any course covering half the fees needed to attend. Members must first apply and be accepted to the course of their choosing.

The first step is to apply to a course. You can find the application online here: http://www.evaluateforchange.com/courses/
