Auburn Theological Seminary is currently hiring for three positions:

 

Institutional Partnerships Manager

The Institutional Partnerships Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of strategies and activities that raise funds from private foundations, family foundations and other institutions to enable Auburn to meet its budgetary goals and to position the organization as an essential grantee for funders supporting social change and the role of religion in the public square.

 

Post-Doctoral Fellow, Applied Research

The Post-doctoral Fellowship at Auburn Research and The Center for the Study of Theological Education is intended to support the early research careers of scholars who show promise of significant engagement in the study of theological education, faith communities, and faith-rooted social movements to understand how faith leaders are best prepared to lead. The successful candidate will assist in all stages of the research process, including design and execution of mixed method research, analysis of data, drafting reports, authoring of articles and books, and engagement with varied constituencies and partners. The Research post-doctoral fellow will do background research as part of existing projects, including use of advanced statistical techniques where appropriate. This position will also be responsible for regularly contributing to Auburn Voices and other social media channels by offering new insights and analysis from recent research.

 

Vice President, Communications

Reporting to Auburn’s Senior Vice President and managing and mentoring our Director of Digital Engagement in this exciting role you’ll lead the development and implementation of comprehensive communications strategies in partnership with Auburn’s team. You will cultivate and raise Auburn’s public profile and image in all media, including editorial coverage, written materials, collateral, videos, social and other new media, etc., and will manage and develop internal communications to a diverse staff, partners and affinity organizations. This role and the VP, Strategic Philanthropy have a close working relationship, partnering together on strategy as these functions directly impact and influence each other will be crucial and another exciting component of this function.
