About LA EPIP

Established in summer 2003, EPIP LA offers peer support, leadership and advocacy training, mentoring, and networking opportunities. We partner with regional grantmaking associations, affinity groups and others to complement and contribute to networks that exist throughout the community.

EPIP Exchange Series

EPIP-LA gathers quarterly for lunch or happy hour and good conversation among colleagues in LA’s philanthropic community. Members and non-members are invited to meet fellow grantmakers in Los Angeles and learn from one another as we explore current topics in philanthropy and social justice. In an attempt to engage people located in all different regions of Los Angeles County, the meeting location changes frequently.

Joint Affinity Group Events

Regional affinity groups in Los Angeles frequently partner to bring relevant programming and resources to our members. JAG is comprised of members of: Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy, Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy, Funders for Lesbian & Gay Issues, Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees, Hispanics in Philanthropy, Southern California Blacks in Philanthropy.
