ABOUT TAPROOT
Taproot Foundation, a national nonprofit, connects nonprofits and social change organizations with skilled volunteers through pro bono service. Taproot is creating a world where organizations dedicated to social change have full access—through pro bono—to the marketing, strategy, HR, and IT resources they need to be most effective. Since 2001, Taproot’s skilled volunteers have served 4,000 social change organizations representing 1.4 million hours of work worth over $150 million in value. From our offices in in New York, San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. we support pro bono across the country and are leading a network of global pro bono providers in over 23 countries around the world.

Today Taproot has expanded on its Service Grant Program, and now offers nonprofits and social change organizations a spectrum of pro bono services including one day events and its newest online program Taproot+ which connects nonprofits to skilled volunteers for shorter term pro bono projects. Taproot has also developed an advisory service consulting practice which helps corporations develop their own pro bono programs to engage employees.  Taproot provides a voice and advocates for volunteerism, particularly among business professionals who have talents and skills which may not otherwise be available to the nonprofit sector.
