Fighting Displacement

Interested in the impact of gentrification in LA? Want to hear from leaders in the housing justice space?

EPIP LA is partnering with the Liberty Hill Foundation for a roundtable discussion among community organizers, policy analysts, funders and community members about housing and displacement in the greater Los Angeles area, and what policies and investment can be made to protect tenants and communities. Speakers and attendees will share thoughts on the current housing crisis in the County, and possible solutions that will support individuals and communities most impacted. We will also explore opportunities for how community members can become directly involved in implementing solutions, such as through local boards and commissions.

Featured Speakers:

  • Joe Delgado, Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE)
  • Joe Donlin, Strategic Actions for A Just Economy
  • Carolina Rodriguez, LA Center for Community Law & Action and Liberty Hill Commissions Training Program
  • Derek Steele, Uplift Inglewood Coalition

Please R.S.V.P. in order to receive information about location and parking, and to secure your spot! Light refreshments will be served.

Hosted by the Liberty Hill Foundation in partnership with Strategic Actions for A Just Economy, Uplift Inglewood Coalition, ACCE, and EPIP LA.
