While traditional philanthropy continues to have a strong presence in our country, there are an increasing number of unique giving vehicles. Most notably, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook opted to create an LLC instead of a formalized family foundation which allows him to have more creative control over his giving. Is there more than one way to be philanthropic? Can new and diverse models of giving help philanthropy be more inclusive? Join EPIP DC for a panel and discussion on new giving models. The conversation will be moderated by Bob Grimm of the Do Good Institute and will feature Evan Lutz of Hungry Harvest and Michelle Gilliard of Venture Philanthropy Partners.

As Part 2 of an event series around managing race and power from your seat, EPIP DC members are invited to join a brown bag lunch for peer coaching and small group discussion around issues you face at work. This event will provide a safe space for members to share their successes and challenges in moving an equity agenda at their organization. We ask that you bring an open mind and heart to this discussion and be ready to support each other in this important work.
This session will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 pm on Friday, October 6. Please bring your lunch and a topic to discuss!
