Transforming Philanthropy

We provide resources to help interested members understand and practice "social justice philanthropy" - grantmaking structures and practices that will really help build a just and fair society. We are creating opportunities for shared learning amongst young grantmakers, young donors and young nonprofit activists, so that these three groups can develop mutual respect, and a shared vision that will break the boundaries of our silos.

The Generating Change program is currently in the very initial exploratory stages. We hope it will encourage foundations to strengthen the pipeline for thousands of young activists into meaningful, life-long careers in nonprofits, government and other forms of public service.
