I am interested in EPIP's mission, but am a seasoned practitioner in philanthropy or do not fit the membership parameters. Can I still get involved?
EPIP is committed to advancing inter-generational learning. This includes a model mentoring program at our New York City chapter, and plans for an advisory committee. If you are a seasoned grant maker or philanthropic practitioner, please contact us with your thoughts and questions. We hope to find ways to work with you.
If you are new to grantmaking but are not a young adult, our resources may still be helpful to you. Please feel free to utilize our resource page, and contact us to let us know how we might be able to support your needs.
I am an emerging practitioner in philanthropy. How can I get involved?
EPIP events and projects happen because of the work of a dedicated group of talented volunteers, and you are invited to join us. Click here to learn how you can join EPIP.
Once you are a member, you can become an active participant in our online membership community.
You can also volunteer with your local EPIP chapter. Each EPIP chapter has a steering committee and volunteer meetings that serve as regular opportunities to plan, network and discuss substantive issues. See NEWS for upcoming activities.
If you would like to help start a chapter in your area, please contact us.
How can I help EPIP or make a contribution?
EPIP is as great as its members and supporters make it. We look to you to add value for others, through sharing your wealth, wisdom, or work. Contact us to let us know what you might have to offer, and we will help custom-tailor an action plan to suit your needs and availability, and to benefit the broader EPIP membership. Institutional memberships-providing all staff members full access to membership benefits-can also be arranged.
Where is EPIP active?
EPIP is a national organization and all young professionals in philanthropy are invited to join. Currently, EPIP chapters are active in New York City and in New England. Our national office is based in New York City. Contact us to learn about new developments or to learn when a staff or Board member will be in your area.
