Recruiting Associate, Talent Acquisition

Arabella Advisors is looking for a Recruiting Associate to be the backbone of the recruiting team, coordinating and managing recruiting, applicant tracking systems, events, social media, and orientation for the team. We need someone dedicated to our social mission, and who can serve as an exceptional ambassador to job candidates. This job is only for very organized individuals that are obsessive about details and service.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting processes for junior-level positions, including screening resumes and conducting phone screens
  • Provide exceptional customer service to applicants, responding to inquiries within 48 hours and ensuring positive feelings among candidates about Arabella and the hiring process
  • Serve as lead administrator of Newton, our applicant tracking system (ATS), including training users on the system
  • Coordinate multiple recruiting processes for all open positions across the firm, including posting positions on websites as assigned, tracking candidates in the ATS system, obtaining applications, scheduling interviews (to include coordinating travel), and administering assessments
  • Assist with the transition for staff from hire to new staff orientation, including, sending out welcome boxes and serving as a thought partner to help improve the process based on feedback.
  • Manage and leverage social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.) to drive networking and candidate pool development
  • Manage logistics for the firm’s recruiting events, such as career fairs and virtual information sessions, including setting up events and coordinating marketing materials
  • Administer database of future candidates in Newton
  • Manage database of Arabella assessments for all jobs
  • Conduct initial screening interviews with referred candidates
  • Upload all candidate and application documents to our ATS
  • Support cultural and strategic initiatives as needed
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A passion for the social sector
  • At least one year of experience in a recruiting role
  • Experience in a fast-paced customer-service role; service-oriented
  • Previous experience with an Applicant Tracking System or database management
  • Obsessive attention to detail and organization
  • Experience managing logistics, including travel and event planning
  • The ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Experience with social media, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Word and Outlook
  • A great sense of humor
