EPIP National Conference 2013
Our national conference brings together over 300 of philanthropy and the nonprofit sector’s most talented and diverse emerging leaders to focus on how they can use their time, talent, and treasure to make the world a more just, equitable, and sustainable place. Our conference immediately precedes the Council on Foundations’ Annual Conference in Chicago.
The theme for this year’s national conference is LEAD. We will expose conference participants to innovative ideas, provide stellar examples of emerging leaders, and create pathways to leadership. We expect our members to take ownership of their personal development so they can increase their impact on their organizations, the communities in which they live, and the world.

EPIP & YNPN Reception for Social Entrepreneurs – Friday Night April 5
This evening event will bring together funders, nonprofit professionals and social entrepreneurs practicing social change work all around the world. Appetizers and drinks will be served.
Emerging Leader Salons – Saturday Morning April 6
Emerging Leader Salons facilitate inter-generational learning and relationship building that is highly valuable for senior executives and emerging practitioners alike. This is a rare opportunity for frank and intimate conversation between emerging professionals and established industry leaders.

Lunch Plenary: A New Leadership Paradigm – Saturday noon April 6
This plenary will explore a new leadership paradigm and will profile a cohort of rising leaders who are working collaboratively to make a difference. The plenary will end with a full-group conversation of social entrepreneurs from organized philanthropy, nonprofits, and other fields creating a collective vision of leadership. The California-based organization, Leadership Learning Community, will frame the conversation giving a brief keynote.
